Privacy policy for the Onimo app (demo)

1. Who we are

This app is published by Onimo B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands. For questions about privacy, e-mail us at support@onimo.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the demo version of the Onimo app for Android (package name com.onimo.mobile). The demo shows how the Onimo app works using simulated data. It is not connected to real Onimo devices, to Onimo accounts or to Onimo’s servers. Our website has its own privacy policy.

3. The short version

The demo does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your phone. The only thing that ever leaves your phone is a message you choose to send us yourself, from your own e-mail app.

4. Data that stays on your phone

To try the demo you can enter a name and an e-mail address, name your cat, add a photo of your cat and change settings. All of this is stored only in the app’s local storage on your phone. It is never uploaded. It is deleted when you reset the demo, clear the app’s data or uninstall the app.

5. Camera and photos

If you choose to add a photo of your cat, the app asks for access to your camera or your photos. The picture is processed and stored on your phone only. It is not uploaded anywhere.

6. Help and feedback

The app has a Help & feedback screen where you can send us a suggestion or report a problem. When you press Send, the app opens your own e-mail app with a message addressed to support@onimo.com. The message contains what you typed, any files you attached, the e-mail address you confirmed for our reply, the app version and the type of phone you use. You send it from your own e-mail account; the app itself does not send anything.

We use these messages only to answer you and to improve the app. They are stored in our support system for as long as needed to handle your request, and you can ask us to delete them at any time by e-mailing support@onimo.com.

7. Permissions

Camera: only used when you choose to take a photo of your cat.

Internet: required by the app framework. The demo does not use it to send any data.

8. Third parties

The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party software that collects data. Installing the app through Google Play is subject to Google’s own privacy policy.

9. Children

The app is not intended for children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Because the demo collects no data, changes will normally be limited to wording.
